Writing on EscapeMag Online
Anyone with an EscapeMag account can publish here. Your posts carry the "Community" badge and your name. They are your words and your views.
What we ask
- Publish your own work. If you use someone else's photo, art or words, credit them.
- Be honest about what you know and what you think.
- If you were paid or given something for a post, say so at the top of the post.
What we hide or remove
We hide or remove posts that contain:
- Work copied from someone else
- Hate, harassment or attacks on people for who they are
- Threats or encouragement of violence
- Sexual content
- Someone else's private details, like a phone number or home address
- Scams, spam or hidden adverts
- False claims presented as fact that could harm someone
How reporting works
Every Community post has a "Report" link at the foot. You can also email editorial@digitalescapeafrica.com with the post link.
We review every report. We may hide a post while we look at it. If we remove a post, we tell the writer why.
If you post against these guidelines more than once, we may suspend your account.
If you disagree
If your post was hidden or removed and you think we got it wrong, email editorial@digitalescapeafrica.com and we will look again.
